I love this one from Urban Outfitters because its fitted at the hips and then has two front pleats that give it a subtle flare at the bottom! Word of advice- it is quite see through so make sure you are wearing the proper under garments ;) Shop the skirt here! (Silence + Noise) Shop the top here! (Silence + Noise) XOXO

new post: all about that flare!

What's the hottest denim trend for spring?  That's right my friend, flares are back!! Hello0o0o 70's.  I am ALL about them, and you should be too! Give off the hippy chic vibe by pairing muted colors and earth tones.  Flares do a lot of the talking, so no need to over do the rest of your outfit! Keep it simple ;) After all the 70's were a time of peace, love and happiness... aka chill mode.  I am in love with these Paige denim flares from Mulberry Muse.  The Top is Sage and totally sold me with the aztec embroidered straps. (Mulberry Muse) I accessorized with an over size tote bag (Forever 21).  And for a fun twist, throw your hair up in a messy top bun to complete your throw back look :)  XOXO

new post: sequins & sunsets!

I am so happy to say, and I know I can speak for all of the other fashionistas out there, spring has arrived!! We can finally retire our big puffers and bring out ripped jeans & fun tops.  Spring time also means longer days and warmer nights so we can all come out from our winter hibernation and take on the liveliness of the city!  Picture this, it's Friday night, first weekend of spring.  In the words of Chase Rice, I'm goin out! (and you should too!) Now let's talk clothes.  What you need: A fun tank.  I am always a sucker for a cool back! (Zara) A light jacket for that stroll to the bar or rooftop party. I'm really loving fancy bomber jackets. (Eight Sixty-Revolve Clothing) These are perfect for going out and fit nicely over your tank.  Now if you haven't noticed I am a denim girl and will find any excuse to wear it, so find yourself a cute pair of destructed jeans (Kensie)  and some ankles strap heels! (Forever 21) Don't forget a statement clutch! (Zara) XOXO

new post: metallic flare!

In honor of it being March, a month that shines some light at the end of a very cold and snow filled tunnel, (don't let the powder on the ground fool you!)  I decided to share one of my favorite combos for spring: Pastels & Metallics! Let's start with the pastel.. I fell in love with this coat from Forever 21! (Shop it here!)  You can't go wrong with the drape of a trench coat.  Not to mention the fabric weight and color are perfect for transitioning into spring mode. Now to add a fun balance to the pastel, pair it with metallic! Too much pastel and you will look like a gift to your 1 year old niece... so make sure you tone it down :) I paired mine with a gold metallic graphic tank (Forever 21- Shop it here!) and flare jeans. (Forever21- Shop it here!)  I accessorized with a multi-color vogue printed clutch and a crystal studded wrap bracelet from The Shopping Bag!  (Shop it here!) If you don't have a wrap bracelet by now you should definitely get this one, I wear it with almost everything.  It's the perfect accessory to dress up a T-shirt and jeans or can be paired flawlessly with a cocktail dress! My wire wrapped bangles can also be found at The Shopping Bag! (Shop it here!)  -XOXO

So why not wrap up this winter season with a Tartan swing dress?? I'm in love!  Shop yours today here at Celeblook! It fits wonderfully and makes for such a cute, easy outfit! Just pair it with leggings (Brandy Melville) or tights and a leather jacket (H&M)! Easy Peasy.  I added my cheetah heart bag (H&M) as subtle way of adding a little more spice to the outfit! If weather permits, I recommend cute red pumps (Steve Madden).  As an alternative wear black wedges or booties (Like these!) -XOXO

I've had my heart set on investing in a color block cape all season now and I can finally say I've found the perfect one! It's comfortable, warm, and quite affordable.  Shop it here at Celeblook! It's a great item to throw on top of a basic T (Zara) and some skinny jeans (Nobody Denim) for an instant street style look! I paired it with wedge lace-up booties (LF Stores), an infinity scarf, and a leather handbag (Prada).  It's like walking around with a very stylish blanket.  Who doesn't want that for these chilly temps? Feeling like taking a fashion risk? Try belting the cape at your waist, I recommend just a basic brown leather belt. Happy Shopping! XOXO

NEW POST: lipstick graffiti!

Alright gals, so if you know me, you know that one of my favorite musicians is the devine Sam Hunt! While he is easy on the eyes & ears... one thing I really respect him for is his style! He is not your average country singer and you will never see him rocking cowboy boots.  This dude rocks border-line skinny jeans but on the good side of the border, flat bill hats, White T's, and combat boots. He has hipster meets country kind of swag and it is perfection.  Now what does this have to do with my look? Well Lipstick Graffiti is the name of his first headliner tour, which he is currently on and I had the honor of seeing him live at Irving Plaza in the city last week! I wore a DIY crop top with a twist on the lyrics from one of my favorite songs.  I paired the crop top with an oversized Aztec printed cardigan (Urban Outfitters) and ripped skinny jeans! For the final touch, I accessorized with my navy panama hat & teal crossbody bag (Rebecca Minkoff).  And alright you caught me, I added a little bit of country flare with my fringe booties (Sam Edelman) :0) Check him out live if you get the chance, I promise you won't be disappointed!

New Post: Snow huntress!

It's February in NYC which means Duane Reads everywhere are covered in pink and red with an over flow of chocolate.  And snow, lots and lots of snow! Spring is around the corner (thank goodness) but of course we are at the brunt of winter.  In honor of last week's  overestimated winter storm "Juno", I have  paired together my favorite winter items or as I liked to call it my "snow style"  so you can look like the ultimate snow bunny. Lets begin with the shoes and work our way up since the proper snow boots are key to not busting your butt.  We all know thats never a good time.  Invest in a pair of Hunter boots people! (Hunter- shop here!) They are kind of like owning a Chanel handbag but without the price tag.  A very staple item that never lets you down. I am  not usually one for caring about a brand name, but Hunter boots really deliver.  They are so basic but go with everything and are just the right height and width.  You say height & width? WTFudge? But girls  if you've been boot shopping before you know what I'm talking about.  Next, black ponte leggings.  You want to be comfortable while trekking through that powder.  Mine even have a little gold side zipper on my ankle.  (Urban Outfitters- shop here!) Next I suggest finding yourself the perfect cape to go over a chunky sweater. (Zara) Make sure it is extra warm! Wear your favorite oversized scarf  (Brina Box- Shop here!) and beanie! Happy styling my little snow bunnies! XOXO

Last week,  I introduced to you my new love for the color navy. This week I thought I would show you one more look! In my previous post I put a twist on my outfit pairing my navy H&M dress with killer thigh-high boots and a multi-colored scarf.  This week I went with the more classic look, sticking with neutrals but added pops with the red plaid coat and cheetah pumps.  Although it must be said, the navy Blu Pepper dress pretty much speaks for itself with the fun lace inset at the front and back! (For Elyse- Shop here!) I also love a good bell sleeve, and this dress has just the right amount of flare! As for the plaid coat and cheetah pumps, I scored these babies at the LF sale! If you have been to this sale before then you know it is a mad house, but totally worth it! Currently all items are 60% off and the prices will drop even more as the sale continues.   Still looking for the right plaid button down, ripped skinny jeans, or badass denim jacket? This is the sale for you! XOXO

new post:  navy is the new black

Yes it is true my friends... our beloved color black has been replaced by navy! I don't know if you've noticed but navy is everywhere! I love it! If you are fair skinned, this is great news for you! Navy can be very flattering just like black.  I'm really loving it in dresses (Shop H&M) and tops and it is an easy neutral color.  You can go for the classic simple look with nude pumps and a basic tote paired with dark ankle skinny jeans and a trench coat! Or as another option you can spice up the look with fun prints and colors such as the plaid scarf I am wearing below (Zara) with thigh high boots! (Dolce Vita) Embrace the navy! XOXO

And a special shout out to my friend Joshua Tillman (Estes Photography) for his super awesome photographer skills!

Curious how to mix grunge and chic in one outfit? Let me first set the stage with a style icon, one badass chick named Gwen Stefani! She is quite the fashionable lady who mixes classy and grunge and somehow always manages to look effortlessly chic.  She was my inspiration for this outfit.  Here's how you balance the two! My grunge: Black rayon challis pant (American Apparel, Shop here!) & the Julliard crop top (American Apparel, Shop here!).  I accessorized my grunge with a red beanie. My Chic: Navy & black moto Jacket (H&M) & T-strap black heels (Sam Edelman, Shop here!) I accessorized my chic with a reversible plaid blanket scarf (Brina Box, Shop here!) & a light pink preforated tote bag (Zara) Combine the two and voila! You can even hike up a pant leg like myself if you really feel like channeling your inner Gwen ;) XOXO

New Post: Pretty in Pastel

Pastels in winter you say? Absolutely! I don't know if you've noticed but the stores have been filled with periwinkle blues, baby pinks, and lavenders this season.  Vintage pea coats and long tweed jackets are all the rage.  I laid my eyes on this baby pink pea coat from H&M and just had to have it! I love the structure and big buttons! With all gloomy weather here in the city lately, the bright color really makes a statement. It's kind of like how they say to paint your room yellow, it gives you a sense of calmness.  Well I find wearing brighter colors can make you a bit more cheery even on the most dreary of days... I'm serious :) I paired the jacket with a cobalt blue shell tank (Shop here!) and high waisted ponte pants from Urban Outfitters. (Shop here!)  Just another way to maintain looking comfy and chic ;) XOXO

New Post: plaid about you

What do plaid, cheetah & fringe all have in common?  Absolutely nothing! But I decided to combine all 3 of them for this outfit.  Sometimes it's fun to take pattern risks and mix and match!  I love anything fringe, maybe it's the southern in me but I'm drawn to it.  Usually I stick to fringe booties, but when I saw this fringe sweatshirt on Nasty Gal (Shop Here!) I just had to have it! It's an easy way to spice up a basic sweatshirt! Now I know I preach a lot about plaid scarves, or lets be honest scarves in general, but this one is a must have!! I love the blue and emerald tones and it is super soft! I also like that its really long.  (Urban Outfitters- Shop Here!) Normally, I'm not a fan of wearing similar prints in different color ways- hence plaid on plaid situation going on below, but for some reason I think the tartan handbag (Dooney & Bourke) and scarf complimented each other nicely. I did feel I needed to throw on cheetah booties (Charles David- Shop Here!) to add a little distraction from the plaid on plaid.  If your going take a fashion risk and wear two similar patterns, I highly suggest you add a third ingredient into the mix.  After all, no one wants to be known as the crazy plaid lady!   XOXO

New Post: Eazy Sundaze

You know the phrase easy like a Sunday morning? Well Sunday, while it is the day prior to the forever dreaded Monday.. happens to be one of my favorite days of the week.  When I think of Sundays, I think of morning coffee, sleeping in, boozy brunches, my favorite pair of jeans, warm chunky scarves, last night's stories, shopping, city strolls, to name a few.  So, I just so happen to stumble upon this printed T-shirt with the word "Sundaze" written across the front while at good ol' Forever 21 (Shop it here!). Of course, it was love at first sight. I'm a sucker for graphic T's lets be honest.  Hence the inspiration behind this post. I styled my favorite Sunday pieces! There is just something about plaid chunky scarfs, (Brina Box- shop here!) distressed BF jeans (Forever21- shop here!), graphic T's, & army jackets (Zara) that really gets me.  Sounds like I'm having a love affair with my closet? Well that's because  I am.  I pretty much shop for Sundays these days; comfort and chicness is key!  My rule of thumb is for every 1 item you dress up, dress down another.  Wearing pumps? (Sam Edelman- shop here!) Pair it with your favorite pair of casual jeans.  Wearing a T-shirt? Top it with a leather jacket.  Catch my drift?  It really works!

I also had the honor of working with Jersey City photographers for this shoot.  an extremely talented couple behind the lens, and not to mention a joy to work with.  We jammed to tunes & popped champagne.  It even started to snow outside!  Sounds like a great Sunday doesn't it? Make sure to check out Joshua &  Michelle's work and keep up with them @EstesPhotos

New Post: Cozy Meets Chic

Everyone has certain items in their closet that they can pretty much pair with anything.  You know the few pieces you couldn't live with out because they are your go to's on days when nothing else seems to work. They are not dependent on price or brand, they are simply classic and comfy.  I like to call these my  #liveinit pieces.  Let's start with an oversized knit sweater; these come in many variations.  I personally love the texture on the one I am wearing! It has a high-low hem and tucks perfectly into the front of your jeans. (Shop:  Boutique Allegra) Next on the list is the black cardigan, or kimono if you will.  This is the perfect item to throw on over any sweater or t-shirt.  What really sold me on mine was the slit in the back and it drapes really nicely on your bod. (Shop: Urban Outfitters) Followed by the basic stretch skinny jean.  Now I know I wear a lot of jeans with holes, but sometimes you just have to go back to the basics.  I like to add a little rolled cuff at the bottom of mine to spice things up a bit. (Shop: H&M).  A fun way to dress up the look is to add a funky clutch or handbag.  I absolutely adore this one featured! Unfortunately, I found it at a store on 40th and Broadway that is going out of business.  If you happen to be in the area, there is still hope! They have a lot of great selections and vogue inspired designs.  For the final touches, add some booties, wild flash tats, and a tribal coin necklace! Tada!    View full post here!

Deal of the day: Haven't finished your holiday shopping yet? Here's your chance! You can find my knit sweater, wild tats & tribal coin necklace all at Boutique Allegra!  Get an exclusive 20% off  when you use the discount code "KATIEMILLER" up until December 31st! Happy Shopping!

New Post: Winter Romping

One item I have definitely loved transitioning from season to season is the romper. Seriously ladies don't let the romper fool you, it is not just for the summer time! I absolutely fell in love with the colors and vibrant print on mine! Check it out here from For Elyse! Winterize it by throwing a moto jacket on top (Free People), some tights underneath (Urban Outfitters), and a felt hat for the final touch (Urban Outfitters).  Depending on your destination, throw on some ankle booties or platform booties!  I also added the red tote bag for a fun pop of color! (Celine)

See, winter doesn't have to be all about oversized sweaters and heavy coats! (As much as we do love those too!)   XOXO.

New Post: Paris Darling

For this week's look, I decided to take a break from my usual plaid chunky scarf an opted for a bright floral one, which I am absolutely in love with! (H&M) It was the perfect pop of color to balance out the gray tones in my wool moto jacket (H&M) and graphic T! I paired it with my go to denim skinny jeans (BDG), which has my DIY knee slash.  I am all about DIY holes/slashes. It's so easy just make sure you pick your denim pairs that fray easily. My rule of thumb is the harder to cut, the better the fray. Your jeggings are probably not your best bet, after all you want the hole to look natural.  Stick to more structured denim! In case you haven't noticed, slashes and knee holes are all the rage right now! Happy cutting! :)

New Post: Tripping on Aztec

So it's quite cool out there these days, but if your like me, you don't ALWAYS want to lug around a heavy coat! Let me introduce you to your new friend, the blanket scarf! Grab it, throw it around your shoulders, and out the door you go! I'm really loving the bold aztec print on mine from Urban Outfitters. (Shop Here!)  The great thing about it is you can wear it several ways. Check out how on their website!  Now when it's below freezing temps you may want to wear this over your big heavy coat, but for the transition period it's a great item to have in your closet! I paired it with a graphic T-shirt (Zara) and ripped black high waisted skinnies. (BDG) For the final touches, I added a pop of color with a cute magenta embossed python clutch (GiGi New York) and tie-front booties! Stay warm out there ladies! XOXO

New Post: A Walk in the Park

As we ease into the last two months of 2014 (whoa, where did the time go?), the layers grow and going out attire means you focus more on the style of your over coat rather than what's underneath. That's right ladies, it's coat check season! AKA you better have $5 cash on you at all times. But who says you have to keep that coat on all night? Here's a look at my key layering pieces for this chilly season. 1. I've said it before and I'll said it again, a plaid chunky scarf! Seriously, its the perfect touch to any outfit (Forever21). 2. Ripped Skinny Jeans, great for the day to night transition! (BDG) 3. Black Blazer,  It's a staple for sure! 4. Lace Camisole, lace is all the rage this season! (H&M) Pair these items with a cute handbag (Celine) & suede booties (Zara) and your mission is accomplished! See, winter isn't so bad!  :) Cheers!

New Post: Street Simplicity

Well gals, that's right fur vests are back for fall! Mine's faux fur #animallover, #outofmybudget, but this particular one (Forever 21)  happens to feel just as soft as the real thing for 1/8 the price!  I paired it with acid wash highwaisted skinnies (Celeblook), graphic T (Forever 21), and an adorable mini sized handbag.  Have you seen these "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" bags in the stores? They are just too presh.  You don't have to get the cream of the crop designer bag either to pull off the look! Forever 21 & Necessary Clothing have some great ones! For the final touch, I wore my Steve Madden wedge sneakers (every girl should own a pair of these by now! If you don't here's a link to- Your new pair of wedge sneakers!)

Thanks for taking a lesson in Street Style 101 today ;)

New Post: Tasteful in Tulle

"When I first moved to New York I bought VOGUE instead of dinner.  I just felt it fed me more." Oh the wise words of Carrie Bradshaw... raise your hand if you still watch re-runs of Sex and the City on E? #guilty! While most of us are still searching for our own Mr. Big, (or not..I mean he's supposed to come to you right?) why not take a page from Carrie's book and rock a tulle skirt?  It's fun, flirty, and chic! Pair it with a printed clutch, some killer heels and girl you're ready to go!

New Post: Sweater Weather

So I've been wearing lots of plaids, boyfriends & button downs lately..thought it was time to change things up a bit! My girly side fell absolutely in love with this multicolored tweed track jacket from H&M.  On my way up to the register I by passed everything else in the store and bought only the tweed jacket (said no one ever!). Real story- I by passed this adorable cheetah heart shaped chain bag sitting all by itself in a pile of random nail polishes & socks. Obviously, someone didn't want it anymore, boy are they missing out! Extra bonus: it was only 10$ on sale!! It is the perfect little shoulder bag for nights out with your girlfriends when you don't feel like lugging around your usual Mary Poppins bag! I paired my jacket & bag with black exposed button skinny jeans (BDG brand), white striped crop top (H&M), brown sandals (TJ Maxx) and navy hat (Urban Outfitters)! See below for where to shop the look!

They are very simple items that are easy to mix and match! Add some cute skinny jeans into the mix with fall booties and your ready to take on the day! #iwokeuplikethis? Maybe I didn't quite wake up like this, but hey it wouldn't be the worst outfit to fall asleep in! Zara is always my go to for fall scarves, check out their selection here and in stores! New Blog Post: Walk The Line

When I'm not channeling girl meets boy this fall you will probably find me in baby doll dresses and thigh high socks. One of my favorite looks for the season. You can nail this look by keeping it girly, fresh & fun! Word of advice: keep the thigh high socks classy not trashy; which means not too short of a dress! Check out the one I'm wearing from Pin-up Darling ----> HERE! It has a super cute criss cross front with a bow back! If your a fan of a modern take on the Bridget Bardot era, you have got to check out their site! Their items are timeless and classic!

New Blog Post: Old School Chic

Oh how I love a classic look! If you happen to dabble in fashion magazines (which I'm sure you all do!), you will recall Lauren Conrad was deemed "basic" by Allure Magazine. Now while the term "basic" definitely lacks some pizzazz, I think sometimes the most basic items can be the most glamorous! For example, I paired an oversized pin stripe button down (Urban Outfitters- Find Here!) with a pair of highwaisted ripped skinny jeans. (Urban Outfitters-Find here!) Topped it off with a Panama hat and a nude color blocked handbag (Forever21- Find Here!)

If you want this look for less, grab your favorite pair of skinnies (Yes, you should all own a pair by now, if not, shame on you!) and your boyfriend's button down (you know the one he has in like 50 colors!) and make a little front tuck into the waistband of your jeans. (FYI- front tuck is necessary, your not trying to look like a total dude!) If you are on  the shorter side, I recommend pairing with heeled booties for fall!

Mini post for a mini vacation!

Hey gals! I traveled to Rosemary Beach this past weekend for one last summer hoorah and wanted to share a few photos with you featuring one of my go-to outfits for a casual stroll around a beach town.  It's not all about the bikini ;)

New Blog Post: First of Fall

Well the time has come, it's September people...whether you like it or not! I've been browsing the stores lately for any last minute, super cute summer items I could get my hands on.  Guess what? No such luck! Fall has officially taken the stores by storm! Everything I've seen is amazing so far, from the oversized sweaters, to warm cardis, to the knee high socks! I get chills just thinking about it. BUT then I snap back to reality just before I'm about to grab that $60.00 oversized sweater from Zara, I remember it is still 80 degrees outside. What on earth am I going to do with that sweater until, lets be honest, November? SO, I make a deal with myself.. buy something that I can wear now AND in November :) (duh! right?) Which brings me to my crossover top from Zara (Find Here!). It's a Perfect color for fall and can easily be worn with some darker denim or tans later in the season.  I paired it with light two-toned jeans I had from summer to even out the transition.  Remember those suede booties I told you about from the superb sale? Tada! (Now on sale for $19.99 here!) I also fell in love with this perforated baby pink tote from Zara (Find Here!). Of course I had to "top" the outfit off with my panama hat from Urban Outfitters.  Seriously, get this hat in every color possible, it's the best!

Hint of Mint: Sneak Peak

As we begin to ease our way into the transition phase of summer to fall  (I know the word fall makes us all cringe a little bit inside, I mean summer just started right!?) it is important to get the most use of your summer items as possible. Many of your summer clothes can be worn  in the fall as long as you make the right adjustments. For instance, you can still wear your maxi skirts but pair them with booties instead of sandals. My mint green Maxi can be found at For Elyse! They have tons of different color options, find your favorite color here!  You can also still wear your beloved crop tops, just make sure to throw on a denim jacket or long cardigan on top! My denim jacket can be found at LF stores! (Hurry while their only sale of the season is going on, 60% off everything in stores!)  Knapsack bags can also make the jump from summer to fall, just keep the colors neutral and you're good to go!

Enjoy your last few weeks of summer dolls! XOXO

Southern Charm: Sneak Peak

Alright ya'll, I took it back to my roots this post and went with an edgy sorority look if you will!

How this look unfolded:  I spent the weekend back home with my family in Georgia enjoying home cooked meals, take-in from the best Italian restaurant around: Brooklyn Joe's ;) and quality time with mom, dad, and lovable pup, Teddy. My mom knows how much I love anything colorful and surprised me with this adorable maxi dress from the Solitaire collection by Ravi Khosla. Voila! Instant inspiration for this shoot. Now of course, whats a dress without accessories? Next stop: Versona Accessories! Never been? Well sista, this place is like a kid in a candy store for any fashionista. Oh and did I mention they have shoes?! Gold mine I tell you! So of course I loaded up on bangles and floral headpieces. My shoes and gold  beaded clutch are from there as well. Enjoy!

Sometimes the best thing about the city, is getting out of the city. While I did not travel very far.. It was far enough for a change of scenery and new vibes. I welcome you to Williamsburg; home of the hipsters.  Also known for its great brunch spots, beer gardens, and array of thrift shops. While roaming the streets with Angel, my coworker and photog. for the day,  we stumbled upon what I guess you could call the "edge of Williamsburg" for a sweet view of the city across the water. Without a doubt, I decided this was the spot for the shoot!

Okay the important part: What I'm wearing:

Let me just say it was love at first sight when I laid eyes on this jacket in the beginning of summer at Zara. Now that it's end of season sales, I scored her for around $35!  Not to mention a really cute pair of light pink suede ankle booties originally priced $119 for around the same price as the jacket.  (Don't worry you will see them in a post soon!)  It goes with out question that any store can be a mad house during a sale. I mean who loves hour long lines, digging through random mounds of clothing, and racing that betch to the last pair in your size? (I mean they would look way better on you anyway, right?)  But, if you have the energy and patience, you can score some great finds!  The white top, black chiffon shorts and brown pumps are from my beloved Neccessary Clothing. Always reliable for great prices and on trend items. I've featured the camera bag from Aldo before, but I think it's such a fun item to spice up any outfit.

Until the next post, Happy Shopping! XOXO

I'm thinking Rihanna meets Lana Del Ray?

If you don't have a maxi dress hanging in your closet this summer, you are seriously missing out! It's one the of easiest day to night transition pieces in my book.  Check out mine here from For Elyse, it hugs your bod in all the right spots! And if your shorter like me, the high waistline really helps you out!

Having a night out with your girls?  Pair it with a leather jacket and some bombshell heels like the ones I'm wearing from Necessary Clothing. Extra touches include a floral headband, some funky bracelets, and a fringe necklace. It's time to get maxxxeed out! :)

Holy fireworks, it's that time of year again! The 4th of July is right around corner, and by right around the corner I mean this weekend! Now let's be honest ladies, you've been shopping for the perfect red, white and blue outfit for weeks now.  But, if you just haven't had the time to piece together a festive outfit yet, fear not! Try this white and blue polka dot romper from Urban Outfitters! It's an easy piece for you last minute shoppers. I paired it with my red Steve Madden heels and heart sunglasses. Also for an extra pop, I added a red, white and blue handkerchief headband from Urban! Don't forget to top it off with some red lipstick!  Check out the full post here!

Eat, Drink and be Merry <3 Happy 4th of July!! XOXO

It was the summer of 1945 in New York City..... or was it the summer of 2014? Either way this "automobile" knows no difference, but I love it! I was strolling the streets in Manhattan's Alphabet City looking for any kind of inspiration when I stumbled upon this beauty.  She served as the perfect backdrop for my shoot.

Like usual, I wanted to keep things simple.  I wore my go to denim jacket from Zara and my favorite Panama hat from Urban Outfitters. Like I have said many times, these are essential summer items ladies. Underneath I wore a tie-front crop top from Necessary Clothing paired with high waisted floral shorts from Urban Outfitters. I decided to wear a low wedge sandal from Steve Madden,  because they give you a little "umph" and height with out all the pain.. :)

The 1950's was a period of iconic movie stars, great fashion, and class. I mean who wouldn't want to be Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly for the day?  The great thing about fashion is that is always reoccurring! In case you haven't noticed by my posts, anything vintage really inspires me!  Pin-Up Darling is my go to online boutique for retro/vintage inspired clothing. You can find my crop top and piano skirt there! This post is also featuring Lulu Guinness handbags, which complement this retro style perfectly. Check out the rest of the post here!

P.S If you or anyone you know has a time machine, I'm your girl! ;)

Where will you be traveling to this summer? Once Friday hits, it's time to get out of the city and onto some sand. Now for anyone who has been keeping up with entertainment news lately,  you know that Jessica Biel is a firm believer of no PJ's at the airport. So, while I'm sure were all guilty of that from time to time, why not spice it up and look your best for your summer travels!    Here's a sneak peak of my For Elyse Daisy Chain dress (fell in love with this one!) paired with my Forever 21 Weekender tote bag. Check out the full post here!

27th of April, 2014

I paired a new dress from Urban Outfitters with a crocheted sweater that had been collecting dust in my closet... but I have yet to get rid of it because it is such a unique, colorful (not yet vintage, but looks it) piece. It's sooo Topshop three years ago, but I still love it. I mean hey it was one of my first purchases when I moved to NYC so I think I'll keep it :) Also keep your eye out for another statement clutch in this post, just can't get enough of them! Check out the rest of the post  in the blog section!

Stripes, denim and a bold clutch; 3 of my favorite things tied into 1! Also a one stop shop.. all you see below can be found at my beloved store Zara! And to make it even better the clutch, striped tank and track pants were all purchased for under $90! :)  Check out the blog section for the rest of the shoot! Happy shopping!
